Seriously? One measly crab and raindrops in the bucket? I&#8217;m not impressed, August, not impressed at all.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s time for some randomness.<\/p>\n<p>First, I\u2019ve been listening to David Sedaris reading <em>Barrel Fever<\/em> while driving in my car. I\u2019m in such a good mood all the time. I laugh at odd times, away from my car and alone. I think it\u2019s his funniest work, and it\u2019s so much better when he reads it aloud. Glenn\u2019s Homophobia Newsletter. You Can\u2019t Kill the Rooster. I just hear the titles and really don\u2019t need to hear anything else.<\/p>\n<p>Another thing that is bringing me great joy: <a href=\"http:\/\/coconutbliss.com\/coconut-bliss-products\/cappuccino\" target=\"_blank\">Luna and Larry\u2019s Coconut Bliss<\/a>.\u00a0I haven\u2019t met an ice cream I liked this much in years. It\u2019s made of coconut milk so if you\u2019re not a fan, you probably won\u2019t like it. If you do like coconut, try it, cappuccino in particular. Don\u2019t let the dairy-free and sugar-free business fool you. It\u2019s good.<\/p>\n<p>The final thing that is making me happy\u2026 I recently survived my sister\u2019s mattress quest. Oh, it was painful and drawn out for both of us. There were several calls and emails of links and me going no, no, no. We don\u2019t want their special \u201cgreen tea moisture reducer\u201d or whatever other crap the mattress is treated with. Finally, with a little help from my good friend Google we found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sleepworks.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">this place in Berkley<\/a> that sells untreated kids\u2019, inner spring mattresses for $400.\u00a0It\u2019s just a basic mattress with a natural flame barrier (wool) that still meets all government standards without chemicals. When I called they said they don\u2019t advertise it because they make it themselves and she doesn\u2019t think they could keep up with demand (?!). Seriously, anyone looking for a business idea? Here\u2019s a red hot tip: make a cheap chemical-free kids mattresses. Doesn\u2019t have to be organic, doesn\u2019t have to be fancy, just chemical free.
